Two
sisters are forced to flee Iceland after their mother is killed for
practicing witchcraft. To ensure their safety one of the sisters puts a
spell on a young farmer. This black-and-white interpretation of a Grimm
Brothers tale stars a tranquil, snow-covered Icelandic landscape, as
well as the fearless singer Bjork. Suitable for adult audiences.
