The Congregational Way is a way of following Christ. People of a Congregational Church do not seek to be led by a creed, but by the Spirit. Ours is the tradition of a free church, gathered under the headship of Christ and bound to others by love, not law.

The bedrock of the Congregational Way is not a creed.  It is a conviction that each local church is gathered as a covenant community.  A covenant is a promise.  In the church, we promise to embrace, encourage, and strengthen one another in our faith.

In the Congregational Way, we strive to balance our freedom with voluntary fellowship.

The foundational text of the Congregational Way is Matthew 18:20:  "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
