Gunsmoke - Song by Tex Ritter
running time:02:54 added by:hauptmannbrittles source: YouTubeGUNSMOKE Themesong performed by Tex Ritter Lyrics: Gunsmoke trail. Oh tell me of days gone by. Tho' alone you still wind your way? Are the ghostly horsemen riding, As they speed eastern mail? It's up to you see them through Gunsmoke trail. The Gunsmoke has now faded from the blazing forty-fours! The stage coach is rustin' on the hill. The wagon wheels you used to feel, will sing their song no more! The sound of the caravan is still! Gunsmoke trail. No trav'ler to care where you go, Sands of time are hidin' your way! Bet if heaven ever let you You could tell a rugged tale! That's why I hate to see you fade. Gunsmoke trail. GUNSMOKE is an American radio and television Western drama series created by director Norman MacDonnell and writer John Meston. The stories take place in and around Dodge City, Kansas, during the settlement of the American West. The radio version ran from 1952 to 1961 and, according to John Dunning, amongst old-time radio fans, "Gunsmoke" is routinely placed among the best shows of any kind and any time. The television version ran from 1955 to 1975 and is the longest running prime time drama and the second-longest running prime time fictional program in U.S. television history.

Horse Shocked at Dodge City Roundup Rodeo
running time:00:50 added by:SHARKonlineorg source: YouTubeThe Harry Vold Rodeo Company claimed it didn't need to shock horses during the July 2008 Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. The CFD committee banned prods starting this year. Kirsten Vold told the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle: When the animal will not leave the chute for a rider or stalls, the cowboys move the animal to the next chute or even the one after that and usually it will decide to go. "The Hot Shot gets sort of a bad rap," Vold said. "But if the public doesn't want to see that, it's a small concession to make for such a great event." But that more humane approach was down the tubes at Dodge City, the very next date on the Vold Rodeo schedule. Apparently the Dodge City rodeo isn't "such a great event." Hot-Shot, which makes the electric prod, have stated for years that they don't want their products used in rodeos, and that the prods should NEVER be used on horses because they are too sensitive. Vold Rodeo employees obviously agree. Just look at how they try to hide the prod, and the trouble one guy has when he forgets to hide it. As usual, the impotent Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association judges just watched and did nothing. Once a PRCA judge, always a PRCA judge. Looks like SHARK investigators and Harry Vold are going to be seeing a lot of each other during the rest of the season and beyond!

Dodge City Cop Smashes Window to Stop Escape Attempt
running time:01:38 added by:Chenoholic88 source: YouTubeWhen this high speed pursuit ends after this guy's car stalls out, the guy in the backseat reaches up front to try to restart the car. But this angry cop will have none of that. Recorded from Real TV in 2001. One more thing: Who would abandon their couch in the weeds? That doesn't make any sense.
