Who We Are:
We are a congregation of Christians who seek to find the will of God in our lives and to share God's love with those around us.

Our little church recently celebrated 135 years of ministry, but that doesn't stop us from growing and changing in any way God leads. Come and grow with us! You will always be welcome!

Our Pastor:
Sarah Butler, our pastor since October, 2002 comes to us from Southeast Kansas City. She has lots of experience in leading and is enjoying her first pastorate. She is a Commissioned Lay Pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and supplied pulpits for 2 1/2 years before coming to us in October, 2002. She graduated Cum Laude from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 and has been a Commissioned Lay Pastor since 2001.

Sarah also has a B.S. (Cum Laude) in Business Administration from Caldwell College, Caldwell, NJ and an MBA in International Business from Avila University in Kansas City, MO. Her hobbies include painting, writing, fishing, canoeing, backpacking, swimming, running and (of course) riding her Harley.

Sarah has published a collection of poetry and paintings called "Seasons of Grief", a book of prayers for the season of Lent and an illustrated children's Christmas story, "It Was a Dark and Cloudy Night". She has exhibited art work at several shows in the Kansas City area.
