Adkinson will also describe new efforts to make the Land Office records more readily accessible. In the afternoon, Betty Warren will build upon information from the morning session to show how genealogists can trace real estate ownership and transfer through time, including the use of tools such as deed-mapping software. A light lunch is available at a cost of $6, payable at the door. Registration by noon on Friday, May 9 is required.
