Jazz-funk-jam trio Medeski Martin & Wood are planning 3 tours, plus 3 albums in 2008. Each tour and subsequent album will consist of ALL NEW MUSIC. The plan: Write – Tour – Record - Repeat. Bucking the traditional process of recording an album, THEN touring after its release. The band feels this new approach for 2008 will lend itself to their way of performing and developing music.
