About Us:
The Hubbell Library is one of the neighborhood branches of the New Orleans Public Library. It has recently (31 October 2005) reopened after a two-month closure caused by Hurricane Katrina. For the time being - until the Algiers Regional Branch recovers from the storm - the Hubbell Branch is the only NOPL branch open on the west bank of Orleans Parish. You should call ahead (at 504-596-2640) to verify hours and services.
