History
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church was founded in 1727 as part of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, The Episcopal Church of the United States and The Worldwide Anglican Communion. It is the fourth oldest Episcopal parish in Massachusetts. Over the years, it has served as the spiritual home of many South Shore residents, including Daniel Webster. The present church building, originally constructed in 1811, was restored after a fire occurred on Christmas night in 1986. St. Andrew's Church is located in the town of Hanover, about 30 miles southeast of Boston.
