Buckman Tavern Open for the Season

Buckman Tavern, 1 Bedford Street in Lexington, was the gathering place for Lexington’s militiamen in the early morning hours of April 19th. View a bullet hole in the old door, authentic muskets, and many other Colonial artifacts. Learn more about the unfolding of events that historic morning and the important role taverns played in 18th century life.

Open daily 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM with guided tours every half hour. Special hours on Patriot’s Day
