The Longmeadow Educational Excellence Foundation continues its commitment to teachers and students through its grant program in an effort to enrich and enhance the classroom experience. Grants totaling $88,000 were recently awarded to Longmeadow teachers and LEEF shares their excitement in implementing their innovative educational projects. These grants cover a broad spectrum – computer software and hardware, musical instruments, academic programs and materials, foreign language training, teacher training. The list is long, and our students are the beneficiaries. To date, LEEF has funded grants totaling $466,000 in its mission to ensure the excellence of Longmeadow Public Schools and presently LEEF has a sustaining fund of over $ 600,000.

This year take NOTE of a change in venue for The Annual LEEF GALA scheduled for Saturday, November 17th at The Longmeadow Country Club. It promises to be an evening of fun for all with a silent and live auction, so mark your calendar and plan to support this very important fund-raising event. The GALA committee is looking for volunteers to help with soliciting auction items or services. If you can help, or have a donation for the event
