Mission Statement

The Monson Free Library and Reading Room Association is a non-profit institution dedicated to its role as a vital community resource center proudly serving the Town of Monson by meeting the educational and recreational needs of all residents by providing collections of materials and resources in a variety of formats, offering popular services, and scheduling a variety of interesting programs and exhibits for all ages.

The Library continually evolves with the interests of its growing community while striving to preserve and make accessible the history of Monson for all residents. With community and regional resources and support the Library will persist in providing updated technology and collections, meeting the requests of residents and partnering with town departments and cultural organizations to ensure the Library remains a valuable resource for the entire community.
