Happy Birthday 7-Eleven and Slurpee

At 81 years of age, 7-Eleven may be an octogenarian, but as a brand, it’s not showing any signs of slowing down.  From recent partnerships ranging from The Simpsons to Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, 7-Eleven is still very much in tune with the times. 

Nowhere is this more in evidence than with 7-Eleven’s Slurpee, which will celebrate its 43^rd birthday on the same day, July 11th.  Slurpee has been staying “cool” with such flavors as Full Throttle Slurpee and Radiation Rush Slurpee, collectors’ cups featuring Guitar Hero and Spiderman and other pop culture icons.  More than SIX BILLION Slurpees have been sold – just about enough for each person on the planet to have been “Slurped.”
