Our Vision:

Our vision is at Hope Community Church is that every person will experience the tranforming power of God that brings healing and freedom and will know that the power of God is at work in our lives.

Our vision is that all people can explore their faith, choose to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and grow in their knowledge of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our vision is that people will be accepted, appreciated and loved. We will reach out to one another, spend time together and grow to know each other. We will encourage each other to life-long growth in faith. We will show each other the forgiveness God has shown us.

As we experience this transforming work and saving grace, we will become more like Jesus Christ. Through our words and deeds, we will proclaim His gospel to our families and our communities, and will participate in the proclamation of the gospel to all the nations.

We are a congressionally governed church and are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of America. Our pastor is ordained with the Conservative Congregational Christian Church (CCCC) denomination. We are a Vision New England member church and actively work with other churches and Christian organizations, including the Newburyport Clergy Association.
