Since its humble beginning two decades ago, Flowers by Chris has blossomed into one of Baltimore's most successful businesses. The woman behind the blooms is Chris Psoras, who began her career after the death of her husband, a prominent Baltimore attorney, in 1978. To support herself and her two young sons, Chris sold flowers from a vendor cart on a street corner in Towson, Maryland. It wasn't long before Chris established a loyal client base and developed the roots from which her floral business would bloom.
