Sailing Chesapeake Style

The skipjack Nathan of Dorchester offers visitors and residents the opportunity to sail on a traditional Chesapeake Bay oyster dredging vessel.

Owned and operated by the nonprofit Dorchester Skipjack Committee, her volunteer crew gives passengers unforgettable sailing experiences on the beautiful Choptank River.

Each sail is unique, depending on weather and wind, captain and crew. The Nathan offers a perfect location for those special events, including family reunions, business getaways, birthdays, weddings and excursions for out-of-town guests.
