Help Needed – Benefit Auction
Liam Mitchell-Bagatti was born on July 28, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. He was born with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension and 3 heart defects. On July 30th, Liam was airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, where he is still hospitalized and is still battling the Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension. Liam has had 2 heart surgeries to correct his heart defects. On September 13th Liam’s parents, Cherie and Joe were told every parent’s worst nightmare, that Liam only had but a few hours to live. Miraculously, since that moment he has been fighting and slowly improving, never giving up. However, Liam still has a long road ahead of him. His parents have had to leave their home in LaVale as well as their jobs to stay in Morgantown. Not to mention trying to keep a stable environment for their oldest son Alex, who is 4 years old. Doctors are saying he may be there for up to a year. We are holding this benefit to help the family with their finances. Liam is a fighter and has proven to be a miracle. Let’s all join together and help this family through this difficult time.
