Visit the recently renovated (2002) Essex Library with a Chesapeake Bay theme. An aquarium, lighthouse, and animal cushions are just a few of the new items in the new and improved space.

Located in the Middlesex Shopping Center, the Essex Library has over 14,000 square feet of books, videos, CD's, magazines and much, much more. A computer center gives free Internet access and word processing (there is a small charge for printing). Children's computers have a variety of stories and learning games for preschoolers.
