Chabad of Upper Montgomery County serves the 5000+ Jewish families in the northern and western parts of the county. Close to 90% of these families are not affiliated with any synagogue. They are primarily younger families with children looking for affordable housing.

The philosophy of Chabad is to provide religious and social services to all, regardless of membership and affiliation. Chabad of Upper Montgomery County services the local community with:

1. Educational Programs including Hebrew School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, Youth Camps, and unique holiday programming. These include Shofar Factories, Matza Bakery, and Olive Oil production

2. Religious Services including Daily, Shabbat and High Holiday services.

3. Social Services including Senior Programming, Crisis Counseling and Drug Rehabilitation Referrals.

4. Publications of seasonal educational material including the distribution of a high quality calendar and holiday guides to over 5000 Jewish homes.
