Vision for a Safe School:

In today’s ever-changing environment, keeping children safe is of utmost importance to Jefferson Village School.
Volunteers, substitute teachers, and visitors to our school are asked to sign-in when visiting school to obtain a visitors pass.
A sign-in log is kept at the office. If your child is late for school and you are dropping him/her off, please report to the office
so we are aware that your child is here. Morning activities begin at 8:30. Students are expected to be in their classrooms at
that time. If you have concerns and would like to meet with a teacher, please schedule an appointment at a time that would be
more appropriate (before or after school hours).
If you are picking your child up for an early dismissal, please report to the office. Teachers are not permitted to
dismiss students directly from classrooms. All visitors must report to the office before continuing into the classroom area
(including the gymnasium).
