Earth Day Festival

Celebrate  our natural world at the annual Earth Day Festival. This FREE, family friendly event features music & entertainment, hands on activities, live animal demonstrations, a Clean Energy Expo, and displays from local environmental, non-profit, and governmental organizations.

This years festival entertainment includes "Bubbleman" Ron Loyd, musician Joe Reilly, Storyteller Darryl Mickens, Afro-Brazilian band Ginga97, and folk musicians Seth Bernard & May Erlewine. Leslie Science & Nature Center's birds of prey will be available for viewing along with educational talks.

Come dressed as your favorite plant or animal or make accessories and instruments at The Scrap Box activity table, face painting will be provided by Ann Arbor Cohousing. At 2:30pm an All Species Parade will wind through the festival with those costumed as animals and plants.
