Leonardo da Vinci was one of the greatest geniuses the world has ever known. And while many people are familiar with da Vinci, the artist, few realize that he was an even more prolific inventor. On Oct. 4, 2008 the Detroit Science Center will present da Vinci’s inventions, and more, when it opens the internationally acclaimed exhibition Leonardo da Vinci: Man, Inventor, Genius. Visitors will be able to push, pull, crank and interact with these exhibits for a greater understanding of the math, engineering and physics principles behind them.
