The Murphy Museum in downtown Harbor Beach is the birthplace and law office of Frank Murphy, a former Michigan governor and U.S. Supreme Court Justice. Frank Murphy, the Harbor Beach native, represented our community well. In addition to being elected governer and Supreme Court Justice, he was also appointed Attorney General and served as Governor-General of the Philippine Islands.
