Traverse City – This summer the Great Lakes Children’s Museum is offering a host of activities to keep kids entertained and engaged. The third Wednesday of each month, the Museum will host its Summer Science workshop.

Wednesday, July 15th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., children will explore solar science and have fun with the sun. They will learn about the sun’s property and make a solar print to take home. The Great Lakes Children's Museum is located at 13240 S. West Bay Shore Drive (M-22) in Greilickville, 7-tenths of a mile north of the intersection of M-22 and M-72.  Admission is $6/person for everyone age two and up, and free for children under age two.

Cost: $2 (plus Museum admission)

Age group: 5-10 (under 5 requires adult supervision)
