The ArtsCenter

About Us:

The ArtsCenter is a collaboration of the Minnetonka Public Schools and the City of Minnetonka, providing arts facilities and programming in our community.

The ArtsCenter is the result of the efforts of a group of city, school district and community members who identified the need to create a local home for a broad spectrum of arts activities. Located at the east end of Minnetonka High School The ArtsCenter is a beautiful addition to the high school campus. It includes performance and rehearsal spaces, scene shop and support areas. Also included in The ArtsCenter are the Black Box Theatre, Small Auditorium and "Old" Choir Room of Minnetonka High School.

Since opening in November 2000, The ArtsCenter has hosted theatrical performances, concerts, dance recitals, corporate meetings, receptions, art exhibits, recognition ceremonies, and numerous rehearsals.

The ArtsCenter is home to the Music Association of Minnetonka, a 30 year old community music organization offering vocal and instrumental music opportunities for children and adult
