Mission Statement:

The Oregon County Library Board of Directors and staff recognizes the need to maintain library services that keep pace with the rapid changes in technology and telecommunications. In our rural county, the local public libraries are an invaluable part of each community. Not only do we provide traditional library services, we endeavor to help our citizens receive the information that will help educate, enrich, entertain and inform them. We will promote and encourage maximum use of library services and materials by the greatest number of people in our service area.
