For the last seven years, Western Sustainability Exchange has operated the Wednesday Livingston Farmers Market. In 2008 over 150 vendors participated, as well as an estimated 1,000 shoppers on a good weather day. Our market generated over $100,000 in sales for vendors. We also experimented with a 10-week Friday Morning Market, located in the heart of Livingston’s business district. In addition, we also organized three special event days in order to bolster awareness and attendance: a Flood Awareness Day, Children’s Day and Community Health Day.
