"The Clark Fork River Market was founded by the nonprofit environmental group the Clark Fork Coalition and members of the Missoula community in 2004. The market opens its season on the first Saturday in May, and wraps up the season on the third Saturday in October. Hours are 8am to 1pm, Saturdays. The market is held in downtown Missoula, under the Higgins Bridge just east of Caras Park and alongside the Clark Fork River. Products available at the market include local grass fed beef, bison, lamb, poultry, dairy products, eggs, local fruits, melons, berries, mushrooms, honey, wool products, jams, baked goods, hot lunch from local chefs and more. Customers can enjoy live music from 11am to 1pm and cooking demonstrations hosted by local chefs will take place from 10am until 11am at each market.
