The 29th Cambridge Carnival Festival.  

Our performance stage on Sidney Street across from University Park Commons boasts a powerful lineup of local artists, live music, DJs and a variety of cultural presentations.

Costume Parade: 12:30pm - 2:30pm - join us to celebrate in the streets of Cambridge at this year’s (2023) parade!

The parade features steel bands, music, costumes, and dancing in the streets. The route spans 1 miles and the procession kicks off between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. It will begin near the Charles River, at River Street and Blackstone Street, then it passes through Central Square along Massachusetts Avenue, and continues right onto Sidney Street and ends in University Park Commons, Cambridge.

Cambridge Carnival Festival: 11:00am - 5:00pm

Treat yourself to some delicious food by one of our ethnic foods vendors, take a look at the variety of arts and crafts products for sale by our vendors, visit the rollerskating area and enjoy the entertainment program at our stage!

KidsFest: 11:00am - 5:00pm

Activities for children ages 5 to 14 years will include face painting, stilt walking, arts and crafts, and other hands-on activities. The location is on Sidney Street at University Park Commons.
