5:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Garwoods Kick-off / Snowfest Court introductions w/ The Blues Monsters at Garwoods
The Tradition continues with our Garwood's Snowfest Kick off Party. Thanks to Tom and his crew for starting every event off right with a Raging Party that sets the tone for all the rest. The Blues Monsters featuring Kendall Naughton will be rocking the night away so "Put On Your Dancing Shoes"!! Also we will be introducing this years Snowfest King and Queen Canidates so don't forget to get online and support your favorite candidates.

5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Snowfest Fireworks w/ The Nomads live music food from Cafe Zenon and Big Blue Bbq Food Truck at Tahoe City Golf Course
We will be kicking off the celebration with a bang on Friday, March 1st at the Tahoe City Golf Course with a Firework show and live music featuring The NOMADS N.
Lake Tahoe's premier rock band.. Music will kick it off at 5:30 Fireworks approx. 7pm

11:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m: Tahoe City Snowfest Parade at Downtown Tahoe City
The Tahoe City Parade is back!! Sign up ( go to Parade Registration Tab on home page) to take part or come on out to watch as the best and brightest of N. Lake Tahoe compete to see who is the Best In Show ($1000.00 prize), Best Youth Entry, Most Tahoe, and Rookie of the Year! Theme again is Lake Tahoe Mountain Mardi-gras. Staging this year is at Tahoe Lake School Parking Lot and will be open to float prep and staging on Friday March 3rd at 5pm. Parade Route is from the Tahoe Lake School to The light at Hwy 28 and Hwy 89. There will be vendors at the Penny Bear Park w/ Snowfest Merch, other and info on non-profits supported by our events.

12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: Garwood's 35th Annual Polar Bear Swim at Garwoods
Join us for this years #polarbearswim on Saturday, March 2nd at Garwoods Grill & Pier on Lake Tahoe.
And if you’re brave enough You can now sign up to swim in our 35rd Annual Polar Bear swim. Come have fun with us during #laketahoes largest shrinkage event.

7:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m: North Tahoe Firefighters Assoc. Pancake Breakfast Tahoe City at Tahoe City Fire Station-on Fairway  
NTFFA. Pancake Breakfast $10 per adult $5 per child (kids under 12) come check out some Firetrucks and other equipment. NT Fire merch for sale as well.

12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: Pete 'n Peters Post Parade Party at Pete 'n Peters, 395 N Lake Blvd, Tahoe City, CA 96145
Come on in after the Tahoe City Snowfest Parade, warm up and hang with all your favorite people. Pete 'n Peters Post Parade Party has been a mainstay of Snowfest for generations!!

The Great Ski Race -Hosted by the Tahoe XC Center at Tahoe City XC Center
Challenging you since 1977 One of the largest cross-country ski races west of the Mississippi, the Great Ski Race is the main fundraising event for the Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue Team, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. This year start and finish at Tahoe XC and ski or snowshoe 26 kilometers. Race details can be found here. If you need a little motivation before registering, check out our Great Ski Race blog. Aloha Snowfest. Come join us for a "Hawaiian Luau" style menu and enjoy lake views that rival anything in the world. Sunnyside Annual Luau will feature Hawaiian Style Pupus , entries and Drinks. Wear your best Hawaiian style digs and bring your Aloha Spirt.

Come on in and enjoy Za's Traditional Clambake and the best views on the lake in Tahoe City, CA.
$30 per plate includes - 1 lbs steamed clams,1/2 chicken, corn and potatoes. Purchase tickets directly through Za's.

7:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Milk Jug Curling Monday Qualifying at Tahoe City Winter Sports Park
Day 1- Hosted by Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation and Tahoe City PUD
Curling on the Tahoe City ice rink - teams of 4 compete to see who can slide their milk jugs across the ice to a target to gain points. Play begins with each team sliding one jug, the team with the jug farthest from the target then slides until they better the other teams closest jug. Play continues in that format until all 8 jugs (4 per team) have been played. multiple rounds are played until one team reaches 15 points win by 2 or until time runs out.

Scoring: only the team with the jug closest to the target gets points. They also get points if any of their other jugs are closer to the target then any of the other teams jugs (if blue has 2 jugs closer than any red jugs then blue gets two points. If a team gets all 4 of their jugs inside of the best one of the other team they get a total of 5 points.)

Tickets must be purchased online for each team of 4 for Monday (7-11pm) or Wednesday (7-11 pm) qualifying with the finals on Friday, March 8th starting at 7pm.
$225 ticket includes 4 person team. Ticket price includes curling entry and Friday Brat Party for all participants weather permitting

5:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m: Tahoe Wine Collective-"Wine & Art " - Tahoe Lake Elementary PTO at Tahoe Wine Collective
Tahoe Wine Collective and Bella Donna Tattoo Paint and Sip with silent auction benefiting the Tahoe Lake Elementary PTO.
$50 workshop fee includes 2 glasses of wine, painting supplies, and a 2 hour instruction painting session. Additional food available for purchase.
10% of all registration and food purchases will be donated to the Tahoe Lake Elementary PTO.
Not a painter? No problem, drink specials and a silent auction will be held at Tahoe Wine Collective from 5-7pm, all proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Tahoe Lake Elementary PTO to help with teacher supplies and aid. Seating will be limited for the paint and sip, reserve your seat here.

7:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Pete 'n Peter's Bar Olympics at pete 'n peters
Teams play a combo of bar games from pool, shuffleboard to darts for the rare chance of being this years Champion of Pete 'n Peters Bar Olympics. Bring your A-Game and a few of your friends for one of Snowfest longest running events.

11:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m: Tahoe Lake School Field Trip Day at Tahoe City Winter Sports Park
Tahoe City 4th & 5th graders compete in Survivor style challenges to see which teams flag will be posted at the West Shore Market for the next year as winners of Snowfest Field Trip Day.

4:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Shadyside Lounge Cornhole Tournament benefiting Boys & Girls Club North Lake Tahoe
Join us for The 5th Annual SnowFest Cornhole Tournament!
16 teams of 2 people will compete in a double elimination bracket tournament. 1 day only tournament starts at 4:00pm SHARP!
All participants will be treated to Shadyside Tacos and get a $10 gift card to Shadyside.
Tickets: $100 per team with the winning team getting $400 + Shadyside Swag

Rosie's is back w/ Black Out Bingo come on out and try to fill your card for drinks and prizes.

PROM for all - for any of you that missed your senior prom or would like a re-due. Come on out to the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park to relive your "Glory Days" Go out to a fancy dinner at one of our local eateries and come join us to dance, and skate the night away. Prom Attire preferred , Punch, Dancing and Ice skating. $25 per person - Benefiting the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

11:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m: Kings Beach SnowFest Parade at Secline Street, Secline St, Kings Beach, CA 96143
This fun-filled event brings over 1,700 spectators and features entries from over 30 local community organizations and businesses, featuring costumes, floats, and live music. Everyone is encouraged to spend the day in Kings Beach for SnowFest! activities and events.

The small town, big time parade brings smiles and joy as it travels east on Highway 28 along the beautiful north shore of Lake Tahoe. The parade will start at Secline Street and end at Racoon Street. The announcing stand and judges table will be next to the King Building near the Bear Street Roundabout. Be advised that Hwy 28 will be closed from the intersection of Hwy 267 to Fox St. during the parade.

8:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m: North Tahoe PUD Pancake Breakfast at North Tahoe Event Center
The North Tahoe Public Utility District is proud to host the annual Kings Beach Pancake Breakfast before the Kings Beach parade. This year's breakfast will be held at the North Tahoe Event Center and we are excited to welcome the community back to this wonderful venue! $10 adults $5 Kids Tickets available at the door. Will feature KIDS activities

9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: 7th Annual Alaskan Open Snow Golf Tournament benefiting Gateway Mountain Center- Big Blue BBQ Food Truck, Cafe ZenonTahoe City Golf Course
6th Annual Alaskan Open Snow Golf Tournament
100% of Proceeds benefit Gateway Mountain Center.

Tee times available on March 9, 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
$200 per team (no single entries). Teams of 5 players.
The tournament is a nine hole scramble best ball format with teams of 5 players. Snow golf is played with a tennis ball and each player is allowed three clubs (bring your own clubs & tennis balls). Skis or snowshoes are welcome but not required. Outrageous Caddyshack/Hot Dog the Movie inspired golf attire is encouraged. Food and drinks available at Cafe Zenon. Additional eats by Big Blue BBQ. Come Hungry.

11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: Wintery Fun at Sugarpine Point State Park
We will have a snowman building contest, Free Cross country skiing and snowshoe hikes, snow science exhibit, crafts, and Hot Chocolate.

12:30 p.m - 2:30 p.m: Backyard Tahoe presents KB Parade After-Party & Keg Rolling Races at Tahoe Backyard
Join us after the Kings Beach Snowfest Parade for our annual after party, and our first ever keg rolling races! Grab a partner and test your obstacle course savvy with an empty keg and a snowy course. Registrants of all ages welcome - kids too! Enjoy Big Blue Q food truck, beer from Bear Belly Brewing Co., wine from NTBA, kids crafts with Chickadee Art Collective, lively music, and more.

Come Join us and rock out $10 Donations at the Door- benefiting AARF (Alpine Avalanche Rescue Foundation ) our local avalanche dogs and their trainers.

12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: River Ranch Snow Sculpture Contest at Rivie Ranch Lodge
Annual Snowfest closing event!! Hosting teams from non- profit organizations who will mold shape carve color and decorate their mounds of snow into a masterpiece!! Teams compete for cash prize donations to their NPO. Come for Food, fun, live music and celebration of another fantastic event.

1:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: I-Did-A-Run Dog Race Benefit for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
Dogs of all shapes and sizes compete in this entertaining, timed dog pull race which raises money for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.
Dogs of all breeds and sizes compete against the clock, pulling sleds over a snow-covered course across four weight divisions; 0-25 pounds, 26-50 pounds, 51-75 pounds, and “heavy weight” at 75 pounds and over. Prizes are awarded to the fastest competitor in each division with a trophy for the overall winner.
The entry fee is $25 per dog and includes a goody bag for the competing pooch. Check in begins at 12:30 and the races begin at 1:00 p.m.
