Engage Deeply with Our Next World Premiere

Becoming a Man
Starts FEB 16

This month, experience a new play about one man’s gender transition at a pivotal point in America. Our Act II initiative continues with this world-premiere production. Since 2011, Act II has invited audience members to move into dialogue with one another and to deepen their engagement with A.R.T. productions, themes, and essential questions.

“A.R.T. is dedicated to catalyzing dialogue and transformation through the theater we create, and the Act II series for Becoming a Man will give our audiences a vital opportunity for conversation and community building,” says Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus.

Eurydice

From Our Friends at Boston Lyric Opera

MAR 1 - 10

From acclaimed composer Matthew Aucoin (Crossing) and Tony Award-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl comes a vivid retelling of the Orpheus myth from his bride’s perspective. Eurydice is a resonant story of love’s beauty and brutality—and the power of music to find us in the dark.
