From: Foundation For Chinese Performing ArtsAnnouncing the 10 Semi-Finalists Fou Ts'ong International Concerto Competition
(This competition may include other instruments in the future but the name remains the same)
August 20-21, 2022 Boston, MA USA 2022 Concerto:
Beethoven piano concerto No. 5 Emperor Announcing the 10 semi-finalists. Candidates from Canada, China, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and USA of age 35 and under submitted videos for evaluation.
The 5-member Jury Panel of the Preliminary Round praised the advanced level of achievement demonstrated by all the applicants, made the selecting process a challenging task.
The following10 are recommended to the Semi-Final Round to be held in person on August 20, 2022 at New England Conservatory in Boston.

First prize: USD $5,000, performing with Mercury Orchestra on August 27, 2022 at NEC's Jordan Hall, and a returning solo recital at Summer FREE Concerts @ NEC 2023.
Second prize: USD $1,500
Third prize: USD $1,000
