"I've received lots and lots of endorsements. The mayor of Bullhead City ... Tom [Brady] has endorsed me. Several state legislators across the state. Andy Biggs, one of our congressmen. Ted Cruz ... has endorsed me ... Jim Jordan, congressman from Ohio ... FreedomWorks, which is a national group of grassroots activists that are very conservative folks ... The most important thing, though, is the voters themselves. We're getting a really great reception."

"Elect somebody that actually knows what they're doing. I've been involved in these water fights for the last 30 years ... I think the idea of a desal plant on the Sea of Cortez and then trading out Mexico's share of their Colorado River water is a good idea ... We need far more efficient drip systems, and the state can and should probably belly-up to the bar to help the farmers with this kind of stuff – because Israel, again, has some of the best drip systems in the world and we need to use some of that for Arizona so that we can have a much more water efficient usage for our crop-watering."

"The governor should stop waiting on Washington to fix the problem, and constitutionally I believe we have the right to defend our own borders and to stand up for the rule of law in our own state ... One, I would ask them to appropriate $200 million – $140 million that would be to send ... 1,200 armed members the National Guard to the border to interdict and make sure that our borders are secure. And then, second, ask for $50 million for our border sheriffs and our [border county] attorneys so we can enforce the laws."
