Introducing Assabet’s Module:LIBRARY OF THINGS [LoT] to Bedford Patrons

A new way to reserve objects from our Library of Things (LoT) collection via our website or the catalog is coming soon!

Library users will be able to select items in our collection by searching online images organized by categories which can also be filtered.

Click on an image and a pop-up box provides the details about the object and the loan period. Users can choose the dates they wish to borrow a “thing” and the length of the loan period from 1 to 14 days that works best for them.

Staff is always ready to help you make a request.

Patrons may want or need specific help with social media accounts or a newly acquired tech device such as a laptop, tablet, or phone. Just be sure to bring all necessary passwords.

Patrons can book a half-hour appointment with our Head of Reference Services by contacting the Reference Desk at 781-275-9440 ext 3.
