Parks Make Life Better Month

July is Parks Make Life Better Month! This month was created to establish strong and vibrant communities through the power of parks and recreation and recognize all the amazing full-time and part-time employees who help enhance the quality of life for the community. We are so happy to be able to provide the community with so many great classes, special events, and beautiful parks and open spaces to enjoy. It would not be possible without all of our amazing staff members.

Celebrate this month by taking a walk through one of our open spaces, signing up for a new class, playing tennis at one of our courts, or just admiring the beauty and peacefulness of our parks. Browse all of our parks and open spaces here.

We are also proud to be launching our Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights this month. COBOR is a list of outdoor experiences that every child has the right to experience in their residing city, county, or state. The City of Belmont’s COBOR include 8 free to low-cost local opportunities, accessible to all Belmont children for the sake of their physical, mental, social, and ecological health. Learn more here
