Bethesda Lutheran Church - Leadership transition

Religion and Spirituality

From: Bethesda Lutheran Church

Dear Choir,

I hope this message finds you well!

For those of you who weren't at rehearsal tonight, I have a rather somber announcement: I will be ending my service as Bethesda’s organist and choir director at the end of this choir season, which will be June 4th, Trinity Sunday.

My nearly five years at Bethesda have been an incredible experience. The time has flown by, thanks to a lot of fun (even in the midst of lockdown pandemic times — Zoom choir rehearsal quizzes, anyone?). We’ve been through a lot together. Every step of the way it’s been a joy to be a part of Bethesda’s wonderful community and to help shape our vibrant worship.

I am very much looking forward to the coming months, and I hope you are, too. We have much to accomplish! Holy Week is coming very soon, and on May 21st, a joyful Music Sunday celebrating the music of Chris Lee. None of this would be possible without your dedication and talent, for which I am ever grateful.

Thankfully,

Stephen
