Remote Work Becoming The New Norm

According to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau, working from home for some portion of the week has become the new normal for a large segment of Californians. The data shows high-income employees with college degrees are more likely to have access to this hybrid work model, while lower-income employees stay the course with on-site responsibilities and daily commutes.

The data included over 260,000 Californians. The results comprised of 20% of California had at least one person who telecommutes or worked from home five days a week. About 33% of California adults lived in households in which someone had worked from home at least one day. The results are similar on a Nationwide scale. Nationwide, about 16% lived in households in which someone worked from home at least five days a week. 30% of adults lived in households in which at least one person worked from home for some portion of the week. Join Beverly Hills Fire Department for Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training 12.6.22 from 8 AM - 5 PM. 
The CERT Basic Course for businesses is delivered by a team of BHFD personnel and certified instructors providing the foundational training and basic skills that are important to know when emergency services are not available. You can make a difference by using this training to save lives and protect property in different disasters like earthquakes, fires, terrorism, hazardous incidents, and other life-threatening situations.
