Birds in the Hills Festival takes place in heart of the Hocking Hills, providing opportunity for any level of birder to grow their passion.

With diverse habitats that include hemlock gorges and mature hardwood uplands, the Birds in the Hills Festival provides an excellent mix of mature forest avifauna. Some species include Hermit Thrush, Blue-headed Vireo, Red-Breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creeper, Magnolia Warbler, Black-Throated Green Warbler, Canada Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, and Worm-Eating Warbler.

Whether you are a seasoned birder enthusiast or are just beginning your life long journey of birding, the Birds in the Hills Festival has something for you. We're offering a variety of ticket options. You can also purchase tickets at the festival.

7-8 p.m.: Citizen Science Introduction by Joanna Gallagher

9:30 a.m.-Noon: Birding for all! With Nandini Stocton

10 a.m.- Noon: Birding Habitat and Wild Edibles Guided Hike with Homer Elliott

10 a.m.-11 a.m.: Build a Birds Nest
