Fabulous 4s & 5s Story Time!
Wednesday, Jan. 10, 11am

This hands-on Story Time program is geared for curious and tenacious 4-5 year olds. Children will participate in different activities that provide room to explore concepts presented in the stories through STEAM activities. Registration is required as space is limited.

From Doormats to Dynasty: History of the Perennial Powerhouse Patriots
Wednesday, Jan. 10, 6:00pm

From the struggles of the Boston Patriots to the decades of Super Bowl crowns, this lively and illuminating program will take you on a roller coaster ride through the history of the franchise that has captured more crowns than any other. Author and veteran sports writer Marty Gitlin, who covered the NFL in the newspaper field and for CBS Sports, will discuss and show videos of the greatest and most interesting players, teams, events and moments of the team since its birth in the American Football League in 1960. Watch the exploits of such early standouts as Gino Cappelletti and Babe Parilli, relive the disappointment of the Jim Plunkett era and talents of Steve Grogan and Sam “Bam” Cunningham. Experience again the transition from Drew Bledsoe to Tom Brady. Enjoy greatest highlights under Bill Belichick, including Super Bowl triumphs. Marty will host a Q&A following the program. Bouncing Babies Story Time!

Infants and toddlers aged 0-23 months are invited to this musical program specially designed to engage the tiniest library users while developing early literacy skills. Registration required; space is limited.

Older Kids Craft: Pikachu!
Friday, Jan. 12, 3pm

Enjoy a day off from school by visiting the library for a fun craft! We'll work together to make your own Pikachu painting to take home. Ages 8 and up; registration required.

Teen Craft: Hand-Knit Blankets
Saturday, Jan. 13, 2:00-4:00pm

Ages 12-18 can come to the library to knit with their arms! Using thick, fluffy yarn, you'll learn how to hand-knit. No knitting needles required! Once you learn the basics, you can chat with other participants or put headphones on and find a quiet corner to unwind. Registration required by end of the day Monday, Jan. 8.

Terrific 2s & 3s Story Time!
Tuesday, Jan. 16, 11am

Children this age love to MOVE!  Our Story Time will be full of things like active movement, songs, shakers, and scarves along with stories. Registration is required as space is limited.  

Writer’s Group
Tuesday, Jan. 16, 6:30-7:30pm

This is a group for aspiring writers, led by Susan Roney O'Brien, MFA. All are welcome, no matter your writing level! Join this group as they improve their writing together. You can either join us in person at the library or virtually.

Plant-Based Basics with Chef Sara Tercero
Wednesday, Jan. 17, 6:30pm

Join chef, author and Instagram sensation Sara Tercero of BetterFoodGuru as she shares her secrets to success for plant-based recipes. Sara will discuss highlights from commonly used kitchen equipment, to flavor combinations and meal plans, as she prepares one of her signature salads. Deep Relaxation Response Online

This online workshop led by With Love and Gratitude gives you the opportunity to feed both body and soul. Mind, body and spirit will be engulfed in a state of profound and deep rest. During the session, the meditative state that you enter allows the body to repair and balance itself in an intense way. This restorative session will be healing on every level! Bookworms Book Club
Thursday, Jan. 18, 4:00-5:00pm

Ages 8-11 can attend this special winter program to encourage a love of reading and sharing together. Mrs. S will read a Choose Your Own Adventure book out loud, and kids will help choose which path to take. When we're done with the story, we'll do a fun STEAM activity. In honor of winter, January's book will be The Abominable Snowman by R.A. Montgomery. Registration required. (Ages 5-7 can check out our Rosy Readers Book Club!)

Evening Book Club Online
