New York Latin American Art Triennial - Open To The Public

Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos

The Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture and the Bronx Council on the Arts are pleased to host the 2022 New York Latin American Art Triennial at the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos, one of the eight venues selected for this city-wide exhibition produced by the Bronx Hispanic Festival. Featuring the works of 22 artists, Luis Stephenberg and Alexis Mendoza have brought together a beautifully ambitious representation of Latin American art.

NYSCA Capital Projects Funding Resources For Organizations

BCA is glad to share that NYSCA’s Capital Projects Fund is officially open! NYSCA’s Capital Projects Fund will focus on supporting cultural institutions seeking state funding for investments in capital improvements that allow the organizations to sustain and expand cultural programming for diverse audiences, promote accessibility and environmental sustainability, preserve and create jobs, and ultimately contribute to the growth of New York’s arts and tourism sectors! Organizations can learn more about the fund, review guidelines and/or apply.

The application cycle for BCA’s suite of Community Engagement Grants (Community Arts, Arts Fund, and New Work) closes Monday, November 14th. Artists, collectives, and arts organizations are encouraged to apply for grants of up to $5,000. Review grant guidelines and attend one of our online Information Sessions listed below.

Grant For Dancers, Choreographers, And Dance Organizations

Applications for the 2023 Bronx Dance Fund (BDF) are now open! BDF is a a unique BCA grant awarding general operating or project support grants of up to $7,500 for Bronx-based dancers, choreographers, and dance organizations. Review the guidelines or register for one of our upcoming Information Session online or in-person.

BCA 2022 Arts Fund Grantee Neighborhood United

Pixel Focus is a series of youth art classes and workshops that are centered around photography and photo collage. Students’ portfolios will consist of both realistic and digitally altered photography images. Students will present an art showcase to their family and community as a summative artists’ collective titled, Pixel Focus.
