Arts and Entertainment

November 20, 2022

From: Center Theatre for the Performing Arts

Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

Yes, unfortunately we had to cancel our Lip Sync Battle for Friday night. We had 4 of our 8 entrants drop out over the past few days and were not left with enough people to have a show. But we still LOVE the idea and will be trying again in the Spring.

In the meantime, we have some great movies this weekend and you’re running out of time to be part of our Mystery Movie Auction. There are 125 movies divided up into 41 Mysterious Items. You can read the clues, bid on the items you want, and the winner gets those movies for their own Mystery Movie Night. And if that wasn’t enough, there will be coupons for free movies and popcorn hidden in some of the items. Best of all, all the money raised goes to support live theater in our community! So click on this link, and bid often!

We also have lots of wonderful programming in December that’s already on the schedule. So start planning to see Bangor Ballet’s Nutcracker in a Nutshell and our own new production Kris Kringle the Musical! We’re also getting the holiday film MANY people have been asking for: I Heard the Bells. Check out the details below and I’ll see you soon at the Center Theatre!
