From: Center Theatre for the Performing Arts

Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

Thanks to everyone who supported Dani on the Roof Deck! We raised over $1,200 for our mission to make arts, education, and entertainment accessible to our rural communities to engage and inspire. Thank you!

We have a couple other fundraisers going on, but with these YOU can come out the big winner. Our community theater is doing one of their very popular scratch ticket raffles.

You could win $100 in scratch tickets and a crisp new $100 bill. We’re only selling 300 tickets and we’re over 1/2 way to sold out. Tickets are only $5 a piece or 5 for 20. If you’re interested, give us a call at 564-8943 or check out https://www.centertheatre.org/socp-scratch-raffle all proceeds go towards live theater in our communities.

And we’re on the cusp of embarking on our first ever month-long raffle to benefit the Center Theatre. We’ve gathered 31 wonderful prizes and your $15 ticket gives you 31 chances to win…and you can win more than once! Here’s a list of the prizes:

Center Theatre October Calender Raffle

You can get a better look on the website here https://www.centertheatre.org/october-calendar-raffle and the earlier you get your tickets the more chances you have to win, but we’ll be selling the tickets all month.

Not to mention we have some great movies coming up and a very important film and discussion this Sunday. In the short film Bounty Penobscot parents and children resist erasure and commemorate survival by reading and reacting to the government-issued Phips Proclamation’s call for colonial settlers to hunt, scalp, and murder Penobscot people. After the film, Tara Smith, Executive Director of Central Hall Commons, will lead a community discussion with the film co-directors and participants Maulian Dana and Dawn Neptune Adams.

More details on this and more are below. Enjoy the Fall weather and we’ll see you soon at the Center Theatre.
