Meet the 2022/2023 Muse Machine Teaching Artists

Through Chapman Cultural Center’s Muse Machine program, schools receive three professional performances onsite during the year — one each of music, theatre, and dance. These informal performances acquaint students with a particular genre or art form by professional artists who also discuss not only the art form and presentation but what it is like to be a practicing professional artist.

Only Two Weeks Left To Register

“Spartanburg Open Doors - Studio Tour” will be a long-awaited “open studio” weekend event that will showcase the local artists of Spartanburg County in their working studio spaces.

This plans to be an exciting opportunity for artists to open their doors to the public and invite visitors and collectors to come view their artwork, learn about the creative process, and purchase work for sale.

This event is the first of what we hope will be an annual tour that helps to introduce the amazing, hard-working artists of this community to the public. Because this will be a large undertaking, the following arts organizations are collaborating to make this happen:

Artists Collective | Spartanburg, Artists’ Guild of Spartanburg, Chapman Cultural Center, and the Spartanburg Art Museum.

Chapman Cultural Center is a place to discover, experience, and celebrate the performing and visual arts, science, and history. Volunteers at Chapman Cultural Center assist in the smooth and safe operation of our facility and help ensure it's a welcoming environment for everyone.
