From: Chapman Cultural CenterThe Spartanburg Photovoice Project
This Summer, we were thrilled to partner with Connect Spartanburg and Spartanburg Regional on The Spartanburg Photovoice Project!
The Photovoice Project is a visual documentation by Spartanburg County youth photographers reflecting the data collected in the CDC 2019 and 2021 Youth Risk Behavior Surveys. Photovoice shares the stories behind the data.
Each photographer chose a theme to explore, then they discussed, researched, and reflected on the real-life experiences of the issues raised. Their goals are to increase awareness, encourage engagement, and communicate messages of resilience to their peers and the community.
