Supporting the Creative Careers of the Next Generation

The Mary Wheeler Davis Scholarship was created for Spartanburg County students who are pursuing careers in the performing or visual arts. The scholarships award funds to students who pursue a degree or accredited program from a college or university of the student's choice.

The family of Mary Wheeler Davis created a special trust as a memorial to her to be devoted primarily to the promotion of the arts in Spartanburg County by means of scholarships for studies in the performing and visual arts.
