The Lebanon City Council Chambers is now officially the "Stanley H. Allen Council Chambers," honoring the memory of former Mayor "Bud" Allen.

Mayor Jared Carr and the Lebanon City Council approved the renaming at today's regular meeting.

Allen served the city faithfully for many years. He served on the Lebanon Park Board from 1976 to 1979, as city councilman from 1979 to 1996, and in 1996, was elected as mayor, serving 12 consecutive years. One of the highlights of Mayor Allen's tenure was the role he played in the remodeling and expansion of Lebanon City Hall.
