Registered voters in San Bernardino County will begin casting their ballots in October and November for the November 8 General Election. The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters will be mailing voter information guides and vote-by-mail ballots to registered voters beginning Monday, October 10 and early voting begins on Tuesday, October 11.

Register to Vote

To participate in the elections, citizens must register to vote. The last day to register to vote in the November 8 Election is Monday, October 24. Voter registration forms are available on the second floor in the City Clerk’s Office at Chino Hills City Hall located at 14000 City Center Drive. Online registration is also available at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. If you miss the voter registration deadline, you can still register and vote in person at the Registrar of Voters office, an Early Vote site, or at a polling place on Election Day. Vote for Your City Council Members

The November 8 Election will include voting for the election of three City Council Members. Chino Hills City Council Members are elected based upon the district in which they live, selected by the voters within that same district. Elections will be conducted in Districts 1, 2, and 4 for full terms of four years each currently represented by incumbents Ray Marquez, Peter Rogers, and Brian Johsz respectively. Residents can look up their district by using an interactive map online at www.chinohills.org/FindYourDistrict.

Vote-By-Mail Ballots

The Chino Hills City Hall is an official drop-off location for vote-by-mail ballots. Voters may deposit their ballots 24/7 in a secure ballot drop-off box located in front of the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Library at 14020 City Center Drive, beginning Tuesday, October 11 through Tuesday, November 8 at 8:00 pm. For residents who wish to deposit their vote-by-mail ballots in an indoor box, the City Clerk’s Office is an official drop-off location. Voters may deposit their ballots in a secure election box during regular business hours. The City Clerk’s Office will be open on Election Day, November 8 from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm to accept vote-by-mail ballots.
