The City of Chino Hills has begun a project to revive the Mystic Canyon Community Building, located at 6424 Mystic Canyon Drive. Since the City first inherited the building in 1997, the facility has been home to some of the City’s most popular community programs including Summer Day Camp, Tiny Tots, and numerous recreational classes.

The City has allocated up to $100,000 in funding received from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to restore the facility so that it may continue to serve the community for future generations. The facility was temporarily taken out of use during the COVID-19 pandemic while it awaited some much-needed repairs. The project includes the installation of a new HVAC system for heating and air conditioning, repainting and repairing the interior and exterior of the facility, and purchasing new furniture. The repairs are expected to be completed by October 2022. The work will be completed just in time for the return of the City’s popular Tiny Tots program in January 2023 and will allow for the City to return to offering two locations for the Summer Day Camp program. More information on the Tiny Tots program will be available in the Winter City News & Recreation Guide.
