Winter Weather Warning for Cotter

Important Message form Cotter City Hall. An Arctic front will blast through the state on Thursday and Friday with a low to a Minus two degrees. Widespread sub-freezing conditions will last for at least a couple days. This will be a dangerous cold snap! To avoid frozen pipes in your home, pipes in yard and city meter, please drip water at your sinks starting on Wednesday Night.  Close Foundations Vents to Crawl space. Leave you heat on in the house if you plan to leave on vacation. Look out for your neighbor. Make sure your outside hose faucet has covers over them. Check to see if your lid is on your meter box. Cotter City Hall will be close Friday, December 23^rd and reopen on Tuesday, December 27th. If you see water running in the street, please report immediately to City Hall at 870-435-6325 or 870-436-7020 to leave message.
