New leaf blower regulations will go into effect starting Sunday, November 6 to improve quality of life by limiting noise disturbances.

Leaf blowers within City limits must be:

-Certified by the manufacturer to produce no more than 65 decibels at a distance of 50 feet, identified in the owner’s manual or manufacturer’s website.
-Show compliance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard B175.2 sticker (as shown) affixed to the device.

Property owners are responsible for ensuring compliance on their property regardless of who is using the leaf blower.
