DEARBORN, MI – The second annual Dearborn Haunted Trail Halloween event, hosted by the Department of Parks & Recreation, returns Friday, Oct. 27 at Ford Field Park, 22051 Cherry Hill Rd. The popular weekend-long event, which will run through Sunday, Oct. 29, will open at 7 p.m. each day, featuring games, prizes, and food trucks, among other attractions.

Thousands of visitors attended the first Dearborn Haunted Trail when it premiered last fall. This year’s event - which is made possible, in part, through the generous support of Beech-Monroe Auto Repair - will showcase additional activities, including a special Ghostbusters show with nightly performances at 8, 9, and 10 p.m.

Tickets for the Haunted Trail are $5 for Dearborn individual residents, $10 for families residing in Dearborn, $10 for individual non-residents, and $15 for non-resident families. A $1.25 service charge is applied to each ticket, which can be purchased online at DearbornParks.org. Tickets are date and time specific and will not be sold or available on-site. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

While the event is not age restricted, the Haunted Trail experience may be too intense for younger children. Patrons who may need to bring a wheelchair, wagon, or stroller are cautioned that it may be more challenging to navigate the Haunted Trail due to the natural landscape of park trails, which is beyond the control of event organizers.
